Title: 40 S&W; Loading 180gr FMJ
Post by: RDub01 on October 08 2017 10:45:26 AM MDT
Hello
Some 40 S&W shooters might find this useful..

I finally completed this project with a recent score of some AUTOCOMP powder.  Since I was working with a S&W gun, I landed this over there.

AutoComp is a great powder in many ways...learned about it by doing the pull-downs of the UW 9mm +P+ loads IC sent over.
Then studied what I saw, researched some data, then based on a small sample I obtained locally, I was able to duplicate exactly what was used...  ;D

I've tested Autocomp in the 10mm with a 180 Xtreme plated
And while it works well, the Blue Dot had a tighter grouping in my tests.

I still use it in my 45acp/230 gr loadings over my old Unique load.

( not a full workup of data charts like you tho...nice work, tks for that )
