I added this to my collection. Can't wait to put some rounds through it.

The SIGs are some of the most elegant 1911s. Looking forward to reading your reviews.

I'll second the request for your review of it. Looks great and if it shoots as good as it looks, you got a winner.

I was able to get to the range for just a few minutes last night. I put about 120 rounds through the Spartan and for comparison 30 rounds through my Delta Elite.
I started with a box of Sig 180 gr. Fmj and then switched to hand loaded 165 fmj with 9.6 gr power pistol.
The Spartan felt like it tamed the recoil just a little better than the DE. The trigger is good but I think the DE 's is slightly better. Maybe just me though. It ran great with no issues at all as did the DE.
It grouped every bit as good as the DE also, ....maybe better.
All in all ....it's definitely a keeper.

I'd sure like to have one of the Spartan 1911s in a Commander length in 10mm. Come on Sig!!!!

Picked up mine yesterday. I'm not a big fan of the stock grips and have some being made for it, so I put a set of gunners on it for now.

With the grips I had made for it. This is a very nice and accurate gun!
