I've taken a break from my 10mm obsession and focused on some custom 1911 work being done for me. I also stumbled upon a fantastic deal on a WWII GI model in the few weeks that I'm thrilled to death with. Here they are.
Here is a custom build done by Joe Chambers of Chambers Custom, called the WMG, or Workin Man's Gun. Built on Caspian frame and slide with all parts chosen by Joe. Also included were two additional barrels used in an accuracy test. All three barrels shot sub 1.5" 10-shot groups at 50 yards.

This started as a Lew Horton Lightweight Colt Night Commander. I sent it to Chuck Rogers of Rogers Precision and this is what came back. Fantastic carry piece and a joy to shoot.

Finally is a 1943 GI I got from a guy locally. All matching parts and holster came with this one. It looks bad on the outside, but ran perfectly with new recoil and firing pin spring. A true treasure.

Very nice! 8)
Well done, I really like the Commander.Good find on the WWII Colt......I've got a couple from the 'other side'. ;D
Nice customs, but the old Colt is by far my favorite.
That old Colt is a sweet shooter, too. The trigger is as heavy as a DA revolver pull due to crudely machined parts on these old battle horses. However, I enjoyed shooting it and will do so again.
Detail strip it, clean it good and polish up the firing mechanism parts (sear, hammer hooks, disconnector and trigger) and I bet that trigger is a bunch better. Won't take much either. About 20 minutes if you are familiar with a detail strip.

i'm quite familiar with detail stripping 1911s and functions, but I just refuse to alter this particular pistol in any way. I have several micro pics of the areas causing the heavy, gritty pull. Ill post them when I can get to a desktop. I promised myself I would leave this one alone and keep it stock. That means no sanding and polishing of mating surfaces along with keeping the original springs after replacing them.

Those? As in plural? They are the same gun.....if you want a pic of my Dan Wesson Razorback....

Or did you just mean those as in TWO pics of the same gun?
Not plural, that was my poor wording. Love the clean look of the RZ-10 platforms though, nice pic.
How about them Crimson Trace laser grips? Unobtrusive, aren't they?
