Title: Colt Brings Out Delta Elite in Two-Tone
Post by: BEEMER! on August 23 2017 12:16:16 PM MDT
I have always liked the look of two tone 1911's.  Here is Colt's new offering in 10mm.

Nice!  I'd love to take the afternoon off to go shoot that bad boy!

Now that is a serious looking pistol!

Except for the sights and the medallion it looks like my Para P16-40/10mm.

And since I picked the color scheme for that gun, and I liked it, I like this.

I picked one up last Tuesday. I haven't had a chance to get to the range with it yet. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. Lust at first sight!

I've owned two Colt Delta Elite pistols in the past. That color scheme does look nice. But, the picture makes the grip look unusually short. Or, is it that my eyes are just seeing something that is not there?

I pick mine up today.

I robbed that picture off the Colt Forum.  Nothing different except color.  It is the all stainless Delta with the slide done in ion bond.
