Good review.  I especially appreciated his spot on remarks about case head support.

He seemed knowledgeable. I would rather have a little support for shooting Underwood and BB just the same.

But I agree it isn't as much of an issue as is made out to be.

I thought the points he made were pretty valid.

To wit:

No one is making a gun that won't handle a SAAMI proof round (including the Colt Delta Elite).

If ammo is listed as not safe in a gun from a major manufacture, then the ammo is out of spec.  Which is not to say that most guns won't handle it, nor that I don't favor guns that will handle those loads, just that it is the load not the gun.

That leaves us wit the discussion once again...is Underwood 10mm out of spec?

Why would you ask that ?

We had a lot of heated discussion a few years ago regarding Underwood ammo, their power level, and the pressure reached to achieve those levels. Underwood has been more of the "nuclear" power ammo. Since then they have backed their loads down. Someone (I believe here) had spoken to Kevin, who told him that now all of their ammo is safe to shoot in a Delta Elite.

We haven't tested this out as far as I am aware.

Exactly. Underwood  no longer  has any warnings or disclaimers  about  the Delta.
I have posted  several  times about showing  Underwood  brass shot from a Delta to several people at the 2016 NRA  show. Including  Colt, starline brass & double tapp. ALL agreed they  looked fine and the only caveat  was maybe they wouldn't  be the best candidate's  for reloading.
