Title: The da/sa P220 10mm with adjustable sights
Post by: black_hog_down on July 29 2017 07:18:47 PM MDT
How do I find this?
I see pictures of a two tone 10mm P220 with an adjustable rear sight.
I can't find one to buy. I am looking for the da/sa P220. Thanks.

I have the model with the non-adjustable sights... Mine was a Lipsey special...they must sell so many they get items first for a time...
check with them, they may have;

The only ones in adjustable sight seem to be sao tho

Yes, when I bought my DA/SA Sig they were night sites, non adjustable, well not with a small screwdriver anyway. But how often are you going to adjust them? Typically one time and you are done. Non adjustable sights are more reliable as that is one less thing to break.

I'm gonna fabricate a mount for my reflex sight and that slide is already milled out.

All the ones I see on Gunbroker now are the fixed sight version.

What is the deal with the "Emperor Scorpion" model?

It's just the da/sa version in Flat Dark Earth paint. Dumb name...

Yes Sig has a lot of marketing spin. But this name Emperor  Scorpion has some history just like the Colt snake names or Delta Elite.
I am not a fan of it either, but people that know Sig instantly know what that is.

I got this on GB. Never did find the adjustable rear sight. Gonna have this milled for my RMR.

I'm absolutely gonna get one and have it milled out for a red dot.   I did that to my 226 years ago.

What red dot are you going with?   I'm going with the deltapoint in 3.5.

Please post pictures when you get it done.

I got a Trijicon RMR. Cabela's had them for $260 shipped a few weeks ago.
I got the 3.25 AND the 6.5
Who does good mill work? I'm looking at Suarez international.

I'm attaching a photo of my P220 with a DeltaPoint Pro attached. The milling was done by amerigunusa. Excellent work quickly done.

The adjustable sight models are all SAO
The fixed sight ones are DA/SA.
The one pictured, I have never seen.
You can buy one of each and swap the slides I guess.
