Title: Timberwolf Frames from Lone Wolf are coming...
Post by: SHOOT1SAM on July 11 2017 12:24:18 PM MDT
I spoke with Lone Wolf Distributors today and was told that the G-20,21,40,41, etc. FULL-size Timberwolf frames should be available just after the 1st of the year.

School me.

What is the advantage/reason over a Glock frame?

Grip angle is like 1911 instead of glock.
That was my interest. But I only have large frame glocks and they have had only small frame
There are more differences I'm sure

Slimmer grip for one thing.  I had a Glock 20, but with my medium-sized yet still-so-manly hands, it always felt like I was holding a 2X4.
The grip angle is more like a 1911.
It's got a larger undercut below the trigger for a higher grip.
It has a built-in beavertail.

PLUS...I just think it's much more aesthetically pleasing grip.

One of the reasons I'm excited is I will be acquiring a G-40 in the not-too-distant future, and even though (as I understand it), the Gen-4 frame is slimmer/narrower then the Gen-2 that I had, the aforementioned features appeal to me a great deal.
