Title: Federal Premium Syntech Bullets
Post by: Copter Doctor on July 09 2017 04:45:42 PM MDT
I am wanting to load some 165 gn. Federal Premium Syntech Bullets for my 10mm. Does anyone have any data and for this and powder recommendations for this round.

Any of the usual powders should work just fine, use the starting load.

I've got some loaded up but haven't fired them yet.

I will say the coating isn't nearly as tough as HiTek, PC, or Blue Bullets.

Thanks for the info. I was wanting to make some range bullets out of these as they are not very expensive, so I am not really concerned with the coating on the bullet other than it was promised to reduce wear on the barrel. The reloading manuals that I have do not have any criteria for this type of bullet as it is not jacketed, plated or a hollow point, etc. Any help with this area would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just use a jacketed 165 starting point, or you could use 175 lead data.
