What is your 10mm carry gun , and what is your SD round ?
For me it's a Glock 29 Gen 4 , with Speer 165 Gr. Gold Dots .
Until it was replaced by a S&W69 5-shot 4-1/4" .44mag revolver as my exclusive primary carry, the job was held by my 10mm Kimber Eclipse Custom II. I used to alternate the cartridges in each mag with various bullet weights, from 150gr to 200gr, all DoubleTap. More recently, I switched to only one bullet weight (200gr), from Underwood. I still like the 10mm round very much, but I don't completely trust the reliability of my Eclipse. I also have a S&W SW1911 Pro Series .45acp that I have set up to shoot .45 Super. That gun has never jammed, so it may be very reliable (although I haven't shot very many rounds through it yet). I don't like the .45 Super round nearly as much as I like the 10mm round, though.

Mine a G29 g4 with Uw 10mm 200 XTP.

I carried one of these for 4-5 years. Then one day I realized that if, heaven forbid, I ever had to use the gun for defense, it would spend months, may years in evidence.
That day I started shopping for a Glock 20.
Today I have a Glock 29 stoked with 135 grain JHP's on the desk next to me. It is being carried in a cheap holster from Amazon that is reasonably comfortable appendix style and easy on/off. Which facilitates taking it off when I sit at my desk for hours.

Is that a G29 instead of a G26
Sorry, big fingers I guess... Its a 29 not a 26. :o
Itonically, I dont even own a 9mm Glock!
Itonically? Lol
Gen3 Glock 29 in an AlienGear IWB.
G29 SF with Sig V Crowns. I carry two extra mags. A 10 rounder with V-Crowns and a G20 mag with 200gr Underwoods.
Switching from my G30S to a G29.4 as soon as I can get qualified with it. I'll be using either Uw or DT in 165gr GD. Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 and/or Comp Tac Infidel.

Gee Punisher, must you punish him? :))
Add me to the G29 users list for concealed carry. For woods it could be a 610 or the G40.
G29 with Hornady 180 grain XTP's. :)
Glock 29 Gen 4, Trijicon XD sights, with 180 grain Sig V-Crown ammo, carried in a CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe holster.
It seems like several people like the Glock 29 for their carry gun . Does anyone have one equipped with a RMR ?
Here's mine. Carry ammo is Underwood 140 gr. 10mm Xtreme Penetrator at 1500 fps / 700 ft lbs

Of late;
Around town and running errands it's usually something in a sub or compact 9.
In the great outdoors, it's G20 most often stoked with Buffalo Bore or Double Tap 155 Tac-Xp. Although wouldn't be unusual to go with 200gr Underwood XTP or extreme penetrator in the mag well either. Recent vacation in brown bear country it was Double Tap 200gr wfn cast.
Glock 29 gen.4 with Trijicon HD sights. I have it loaded with Hornady Critical Duty. Sometimes I'll switch ammo to Underwood 180 gr. XTP's.
I think it's safe to say the G29 is making it just fine. So much for the naysayers. I've switched mine to Underwood 200gr Noslers.
Gen 4 G20 w/ Underwood 135 gr. One spare reload.
I am not 100% sure, but the correct answer is ....YES......a 10mm is my carry gun. And today being Sunday, The Dan Wesson CBOB is in order. The 10mm I have carried most would be the Glock 20. The warm weather is cause for dressing lighter, so the G-29 is great......Glocks are not bothered by sweat anywhere near as bad as my 1911's.
My standard round is a 180gr. Gold Dot with a muzzle velocity just under 1400fps. 8)
For about a year, it's been my G20/g3. A few months ago I was finally able to buy a G29/g3 (added the Pearce +0 extensions to both mags). Carried both with 180 grain XTPs. The G29 carries much easier than the G20. So far I only have a Safariland ALS IWB retention holster for them, which is kind of bulky. I'm saving for a Stealthgear ventcore IWB holster for the G20 and I'm hoping the G29 will fit in it as well. Stealthgear claims the G29 won't fit in the G20 holster, but I don't see why not since they are both the same width and the 29's slide is just a bit shorter.
UPDATE: The Stealthgear holster for the G20SF does work for my G29SF. It is a little bit snug due to the 29 frame sticking down further because of the larger RSA, but it does fit into it quite nicely.
In the colder months or when out in the woods I will carry my Glock 20 loaded with 180 Sig V Crowns or handloaded 180 Gold Dots.
Well since no one else admits to carrying a Sig I'll say that that a P220 is my carry 10. That's with a Leupold DeltaPointPro that I carry in a courier bag I set up to hold the pistol and a spare mag. Ammo is UW 165 Gold Dot. I can not execute a quick draw but I can get it in play fairly fast. Since I can not execute a quick draw from a holster either I'm not sacrificing much.
ALL!
ONE of my criteria for buying a gun is it must be feasible to carry.
I use either Underwood 155gr XTP's or Underwood 165gr gold dots.
