Title: New G40 review
Post by: Bat Rastard on May 30 2017 06:31:06 PM MDT
I have had it about 4 hours now. 200 rounds or so down the pipe, it looks like a keeper.
It shoots straight. The brass looks good and doesn't get too far from me.
The chronograph says I am getting 100-175 fps more than the G29.
No jams. I did not expect jams. It's a Glock!

Congrats! How's the recoil?

What ammo did you shoot?

I shot some Underwood, and several flavors of reloads.

Congrats on the new G40.  I'm just getting started in the 10mm with my G20 and I have been looking at either the G29 or G40 for the next purchase.

Recoil was not bothersome at all. My wife did not complain after several mags.
The brass after being fired would not go very far into my case gage. After re-sizing in my standard dies they drop right in. I have to do pass through sizing on my
G29 brass for that to happen.

My only complaint, I was hoping to carry it some. It is too big for regular carry IWB.
Yes, I knew it was big when I bought it. I am not that bright...
