I see that Midsouth is now carrying Shooters World powers.

Yes and Powder Valley Inc as well.
I know Underwood used a bunch of Major Pistol (D37-01) during the last great powder shortage. Has anyone tried Heavy Pistol in 10mm (D37-02)?
Judging by the charge weights compared to AA#9 it appears to be just a bit faster than #9. I have always found #9 to be a great 10mm powder, but it could stand to be just a bit faster. That makes me wonder if Heavy Pistol would be a good fit. Unfortunately there is a general dearth of 10mm Auto data for these powders in general, and none for Heavy Pistol in 10mm.

What I've been looking for, to no avail, is -01. Would like to do a comparison with #7 :)
Yes the small sample of D037-01 I used most of it to duplicate the UW loading 180Grain XTP load:
LOVEX D037.01
High density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate No. 7
designed for 9 mm NATO carbine ammunition. Somewhat more
specialized in applications than D032 and D036, it is well suited to high
intensity cartridges. It is a good choice for .357, .41 and .44 Magnum
cartridges, when slightly less than full powder loads are preferred.)

Yes, I've used Heavy Pistol (bought from Powder Valley I believe) to some great success.

For example I am pushing a 200g XTP with a load of 12.5 of DS037.2 (Shooters World Heavy Pistol), new or once fired Starline brass and an SB LP . This is in a Grand Power P40 10mm which has a fully supported case. That is 715 foot pounds of energy.
I know this topic is over a year old, but I load all my 10mm bullets with shooters world powders. I've also used AA9 and LongShot, but the SW powder from midsouth during their hazmat special is the best price around. I use Heavy pistol with 180-200 grain, Major pistol with 135-155.

klenke.ryan, welcome to the forum! Shooter's World powders are Rebranded LOVEX powders. They are very clean burning and are measured like the AA powders by weight...
Thanks! I've been reloading 10mm for awhile now and cruising the forum. I figured I could try to help out with SW powder questions. I'm about to do a bunch of 155 with the Major pistol powder for my AR10mm.

Yeah I got no hazmat charge for four pounds of powder from Midsouth Shooters. But I got four pounds of their 4350rifle powder instead. I already had a couple of one their pistol powders in a different deal
