I wanted to compare the two loads. As we know, they both use the same bullet.
The Underwood @1700 fps obviously felt stronger then the Lehigh @1500 fps. The Lehigh was no slouch though.
I wouldn't hesitate to carry either in a state like New Jersey, where hollowpoints are illegal. I may carry a variation of these loads upon my retirement from law enforcement.
I would lean towards the Underwood for woods carry.
Sorry no chronograph. And at $38 per box / 20 this ammo is too expensive to send in for a pull down. Sorry guys!

My misunderstanding, I thought they were both the Underwood...I haven't had the chance to peek inside the actual Lehigh product. Seeing they are about 200 fps slower than the Underwood, I have to wonder if they are just reduced charges of what UW
is doing or if they infact are using another powder to make their numbers.
I would like to see what could be done using BE-86 with these to take advantage of the flash suppressants.
Both versions are using low flash powder for sure.
