Kimber was never a brand that captured my attention until 2017. There were three products added to the Kimber portfolio that made me take notice. 1st the Kimber K6s revolver previously reviewedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9Eu2kQn8ME (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9Eu2kQn8ME), the Kimber Super Jagagre 10MM and this Kimber Camp Guard 10 MM. Kimber partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to configure the ideal back country defensive handgun in a high powered cartridge. Proceeds from each purchase will go towards conservation.

Features:
Full Size 1911/Frame
Skeletonized Trigger
Checkered Frame Front
5inch Ramped Barrel
Night Sights
Flat Top Slide with Rounded Edges
Serrated BobTail Mainspring Housing

Some say the Colt Delta Elite saved the 10MM, well Kimber has extended its legacy.

Wish they'd make that K6s in 10mm.

Wow now that's out of the box thinking. Maybe a larger frame K6s in 10MM?

I am still breaking in my Camp Guard. I really like it so far. It really throws the brass!

Thanks for the heads up on the brass. I figured it would as all my 10MM's did until I changed the recoil spring. Since this comes with a 18 pound recoil spring from factory I will be ordering me a 20 pound recoil spring which is the spring I default to that solved this problem in others.

I put a heavier (21#?) spring and a flat firing pin stop in. It gets the brass 1 fencepost closer now.

LOL one fence post closer LOL. Maybe it is the ammo I shoot but a 20# spring gets them all piled up about 5feet away with my Delta Elite and Para Elite Hunter.
