Title: Is anyone running Meprolight FT Bullseye sights?
Post by: SavageOne on February 25 2017 05:16:37 PM MST
From what I've seen I think I would really like a set, but it appears that most designs are for flat top pistols(Glock, XD,H&K). However, I did see where they make a set for Remington R1 pistols that is curved to sit on a 1911 slide, since the top of my GP 10mm slide is curved(actually stepped by milling) I am hoping it might fit. I broke out an old adapter plate I used when I fitted a reflex on my RIA 10mm and while not a perfect match it seem like it might work. The only other option I have is to send the slide off to Ameriguns USA so Chris can measure it and make an adaptor plate. I could have the slide milled to accept the Meprolight sight, I have seen examples of both done for Trijicon RMR sights. My main question is, has anyone else run these sights and if so what are your thoughts on them?

I have a set I have been meaning to put on my wife's G19. They look good but will know once I get them mounted. Sorry I can't provide more info than that.
