Interesting. So that's a new powder and bullet. The bullet is a Rainier make as verified. So the speeds match up with the charge?

Looks the same as the Longshot powder I have.  I have yet to come across a powder that even resembles Longshot.  I'm not saying there isn't one or some that do, I just haven't seen any yet, and don't really know.

I'm curious to know if this one actually reaches 1225fps.  8.6 grains of Longshot seems a hair light to me for that.  Seems like it would be more of an 1150fps load to me, though I don't know that for sure either.  Plus I have no experience with plated bullets yet, and don't know how they do velocity wise compared to true jacketed bullets.

I got 1276 FPS in testing.

Yup that was the average.

In this scenario 8.6 grains of Longshot does more than I expected.  That's pretty good even if velocity might drop a little from a Glock.

100% sure on longshot?

You are never 100% sure unless it is in the can still :P

charge weight and visual inspection match up with known Longshot powders and load data.  99% sure.

8.6gr Longshot pushes a 180gr bullet out of my Glock 20 (factory barrel) between 1150 and 1160 fps for what it's worth.

Like Turo said that sounds about right. I got 1198 with 9.0 gr of LS from the Glock 20.......1262 from my Delta, but with smileys. From my limited experience it seems around 10 fps per 0.10 grain of powder. You lose around 30-60 fps in the Glock due to the shorter barrel, larger chamber, and slightly larger bore vs the Delta or 1006 depending , of course, on load and powder type.

I averaged 1180 with 8.5 gr LS BUT with Win LP's.  In my testing they get +30 over CCI's.  This was in my EAA Witness Limited 4.75" barrel.  PD 180 FMJ.
