Title: WTB 357 Sig barrel
Post by: Buff7mm on January 18 2017 06:42:56 PM MST
Anybody know where I can lay my hands on a standard length Lone Wolf 357 Sig barrel for my G29?
I've scoured the web and these things are like hens teeth. I emailed LW and was told they are bringing it back in their Alpha Wolf line in a few months but I've heard that before and I hate to wait because we all know that a couple of months can turn into 8-10 months

Lone wolf has a 357 sIG conversion barrel for the G29, but it is the extended ported model. You might be able to have it cut to length and recrowned.

I wrote LWD the other day and their response was that they are switching over to the Alpha Wolf barrels...
The reason I wrote was I was looking for a 6.02" 357Sig barrel for my G-20

QuoteWe have closed the Lone Wolf line to introduce the Alpha Wolf line. We will be getting more of those 6.02" barrels in stock in the future but they are unavailable at this time. It could be a couple months until we have them again.

Just my commentary, but that's a lame ass way to switch models................fail.

Yes I will probably continue to buy their products, but this is 2017. Planning is a real possibility in this reality.

The bad thing about the Alpha Wolf line is that they are nitrated (hardened surface), so you can't use a reamer to open the chamber like I did with a 9x23 reamer.

Yep, see my first post, I too contacted them and got the same response.
I might just buy a G32 and  let it at that.
