I was browsing a local gun dealers website and saw that they had a used SW 1066 for $625. The picture isnt uploaded yet. So I have no Idea of condition. Thoughts? Good Deal? how does this model stand collectability wise compared to other 10xx series
From WikiPedia:
Model Total Produced
1006 26,978
1026 3,135
1046 151
1066 5,067
1076 13,805
1086 1,660
Pics would be great. If in good shape I would say go for it.

Looks good from here.!
For that price I would buy it in a heartbeat. It has some obvious holster marks but that may be able to be cleaned up. They are tanks and will last a lifetime.
I agree, $625 is a steal.
Tell me where I'll buy it! ;D
Bad news, I went to gunshop to check it out, Gone! :'(
That actually lasted longer than I thought
You have to jump on such deals.
You should have been posting about the 1066 you picked up for a great price at the local gun shop...
I think we are to the "Any S&W 10XX series for under 7 bills is a great price" stage...

I mean unless it's been cut in 100 pieces, pretty much true.
I let go of mine late last summer. I listed it for 1400 in Uncle Henry's and it was gone in 12 hours. The guy drove 200 miles and didn't Dicker. I would buy another in a heartbeat, that was my gate way into 10mm, 350 with 3 magazines at a pawn shop in Bangor. I had never even heard of the round when I bought it. Had no idea what I was getting into.
