Title: 10mm USP, deer hunting results
Post by: scubadds on November 28 2016 08:37:39 AM MST
Took my 10 year old deer hunting at his request...
He was shooting a 300 blackout, he usually is a great shot on the range; but he had a tough downward angle...
So his first shot hit low, and the deer jumped up and ran;
In the moment I thought he hit it and it was running off;
So, I got 3-4 fast shots off with the 10mm USP at it darted into the woods.

The good news is the gun performed flawlessly; the other good news is I missed also.... (really wasn't that excited about cleaning a deer that night)

I just finished polishing the feed ramp and had not fully tested the gun; nor had I tested the hunting rounds I shot;

I was impressed the gun cycled very well; funny thing is I don't even remember any recall at all....
Just had to share

Good outing I'm sure for both of you.

My grandfather took me hunting around that age. Good memories.

I'd like to hear more about your USP in 10MM. Is there another thread on this?
