Title: BE-86
Post by: M60 Tanker on November 26 2016 07:46:09 PM MST
I just got two 1 pound cans of BE-86 powder. Has anyone used this powder. I was looking on the Alliant web site and this powder is used in a lot of rounds. I am just looking for some input on this powder.

I have used it some, I really like it, it is not the best for fastest velocity, however it does perform from lower to near upper ranges across many cartridges.  I am still working up some test with several to include 9x25 Dillon

I got 8 lbs of it to play with.  I hope that works out to a lot of playing:-)

In addition to 10mm I will try it in 38 super, 9mm handgun and 7.62X54R rifle loads with cast bullets.

I have used their published loads for 380ACP, 9MM, 45ACP and 10mm.  Very versatile powder.
