Kind of a off type of powder for this?

COAL seems short. Only 1100 FPS with a 180? Not so great. What powder?

The powder appears to be TightGroup and if it is, at that charge weight it should exceed the 1100 fps mark. Probably 1150 as loaded.  1100 fps is what I found listed as advertised velocity...
Hodgdon show 6.0 grains @ 1141 under a 180 gr Sierra JHC and is likely a longer bullet.

Yes I was concerned about the seating depth being that short, but when you see how short stubby the nose is, it leaves a lot of the straight sides outside the casing.  I actually reloaded it at 1.2445"

1153 FPS and it's the same load Armscor uses. Both gave the same results.

Much better than 1.2385". I could imagine feeding issues that short. That is a huge distance to jump from the magazine to the chamber, lots of time for something to go wrong.
