I saw that this morning. I hope the Christmas pricing on primers and a few other things remain. Actually with all the reloading equipment and supplies. At times their prices can't be beat, and they do have a $20 HazMat.
I've been hearing the rumor for almost two years. I guess it's finally gonna happen. I wonder if they'll keep the Cabela's name on the store front. Would seem like the smart thing to do. Cabela's has some pretty good specials and free shipping every now and then.
I read somewhere that BP was paying in the neighborhood of 5.5 billion. Wow.
I really like cabelas but loathe bass pro, you can't ever get help and their prices are way too high on most things. Service at the one here is even worse than lowes and home depot
Don't have Bass Pro in my area. Sad to hear they don't have good service.

This is terrible. We have a Bass Pro in California. Since they will be part of the same organization, I will have to pay sales tax (8.75%) on every purchase. That is one reason I don't buy from Amazon anymore.
And yes, Bass Pro prices are higher than Cabela's
.
Wonder if they will close the Bass Pro or the Cabelas in my area. Cabelas is 20 mins away...and Bass Pro is an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic. BP's selection locally on reloading is a joke. Their entire reloading is limited to one aisle.
