Mainly applies to exports right. Would that just mean if you wanted such a piece they would need to have their MFG facility here?
Would kill EAA and some other import only places. Could help the economy here maybe?
My, my....so soon. Should I really be surprised? ::)
I'm looking at it that there won't be anything to be surprised about for at least the next four years assuming 2 things; 1) The midterm elections in two years don't change any of what is now, And 2) That Obama is in the President of the United States for the next four years.
There may very well end up being disappointments, and probably will be. As to actual surprises, I doubt it.
Well it should apply to exports/imports of arms and ammo...but given an inch the could backdoor a mile or two! :o
We're a leading exporter so it would hurt jobs here. As Shadow said, give an inch......
It always starts small, then........
The treaty just says that signatories have to make supporting human rights central to their decisions regarding arms exports.
Is there a more basic human right than the right to life, and it's corollary the right to defense of life. Seems like the only responsible thing to do to support human rights is to make every effort to ensure every person on the planet has reasonable access to guns. ;D

I really hope he is. Obama concerns me. Biden scares the $#!7 out of me.
I just hope the replublicans can find a real leader. True fiscal conservative, a limited government enthusiast. They gotta understand that they need someone new, not someone who's dues are all paid up.
I agree with ya on Biden! ???
