We sure are in one heck of a predicament. Looks like Hillary is going to win big. She's so high up in the polls, even if she falls she'll still be ahead.
So where does that leave us gun owners? Her Supreme Court picks could be devastating for the 2nd amendment.
Trump has shot himself in the ass. I really hoped he could shut his mouth and ride his small lead to a victory.
But he blew it.
Our only hope is that he drops out if his poll numbers fall too low, in time for the RNC to pick a new candidate. Or we all must make the decision to support Johnson.
If we continue to support Trump and he loses (very likely) we put the final nail in our own coffin.
Yep, this is how I see things in the political arena;
The web of corruption is woven across all branches of the obsessive, overbearing, big, greedy government going wild for power and control!
It becomes a matter of unjustly tipping the scales of Justice and just like that our rights will be destroyed by such a government no longer controlled by we the people!
Wake up! Because it is happening this year, this election cycle!
If Hillary is elected, our government will shift to a socialist / communist regime!
The people will become totally enslaved by the government masters!
STOP THE ENSLAVEMENT....
Trump has really blown his lead! The Democrats put on a very well planned Convention and went from one voter group to the next with speakers to capture their support and it seems to have worked.
Clinton went on Fox Sunday morning and continued to lie about the FBI investigation and not a word about it from the Trump camp. The GDP was up a dismal 1.2% in the second quarter and Trump continues his bickering with the Khan family.
Trump has seven weeks to clear up his miss-steps and prepare for the first debate. Either he shows up strong that night or he's done. I have not heard who the Moderators for that debate will be, but that will be important for Trump.

I think, and hope, that you are wrong. The only chance we've got, I believe, is if he DOESN'T shut his mouth. And it sure seems to me that the Dems (and the press) are REALLY afraid of him ... and they haven't been afraid of Republicans in a long time.
If Hillary wins, we (and the 2nd amendment) are doomed.

"IT" has been happening for over 100 years. Read some old anti-communist writings from the 1920's and 1930's. There is plenty of evidence of what "their" plan was all along.

I am going to vote for whomever I want to. I am not going to let some over paid clown tell me who to vote for.
It's not over yet....
If the monkeys get their act together and start supporting each other, it can ( the polls ) get back to 48% each.
Where Trump has to go is against Hillabag and stick to that topic without getting side tracked... that plus pulling back more of the independents ( who I think will ultimately be the deciding group to swing one way or other )
I think and hope Trump can get almost every voter (no matter how blue they may be) to ask themselves one simple question: "Are you tired of being fed "verbal pablum" by your politicians"?
Trump doesn't feed verbal pablum.
This is EXACTLY what the idiot liberal media want you to believe - that Hillary is unstoppable and everyone else should just quit and save everyone the time and energy.......................
Donald has to get his ass in gear and stop this silly, high school one-upsmanship and hammer the real topics.

I was not saying that at all. Hillary is starting with between 35 and 40% of the vote no matter what she does or says.
Trump probably has 30 % and he will need to convince more than half the rest to vote for him and not Clinton. A big share of those will decide on the debate turns out.
don't believe the propaganda! look at the way the media & Dems have been lying about and blowing everything out of portion to try to make Trump look bad. they won't even report the huge crowds at Trump rallies and empty seats at Hillary's rallys. it don't matter what Trump says. good or bad its going to be twisted to bad. polls are easily manipulated too. the left are masters of deception. (how else could Hillary not be in prison by now?) one of Trump's main selling points is that he is not a P.C. carrier politician. he says what usually needs to be said. we have NO other choice but to take our chances with Trump. we don't know what kind of President he will be but we sure do know what kind of President Hillary will be!

I agree 100%.
Ari Fleischer said it best when asked by Mika Brzezinski if he could vote for Trump.
He said yes, but also said that Trump was his 17th choice of the Republicans candidates but Clinton was his 19th choice.
Yes, he would prefer Bernie over Hillary.

You NAILED it!!
What if? ??? I do not know either of these people... :o
Another wild conspiracy theory?
Here's a very scary thought..............
I had to take my vehicle to the mechanic the other day for service. The Service Manager, Pete, gave me a ride home and on the way he told me his theory about the upcoming election and the next four years of U.S. government.
At first I thought it a bit far fetched. But as I listened to him it began to make sense, scary sense...
"I believe that Hillary Clinton will win the election in November," Pete began. "Then, sometime between November and January, Hillary will be indicted. The IRS is now investigating the Clinton Foundation and the whole e-mail thing isn't over yet."
"Once under indictment she won't be able to assume the Office of the President in January. Tim Kaine, who will not actually be the Vice President because neither he nor Hillary have been inaugurated, cannot assume the Presidency."
"The Speaker of the House can't move up to it because there is already a sitting President and Vice President. So President Obama, in an Executive Order citing "emergency situation," gives himself another four years in office is the only way possible."
Pete believes Obama has been planning this for a while now, knowing he has enough on Hillary to indict her. Had the Attorney General indicted her based on evidence from the FBI this plan wouldn't have worked because the DNC would have quickly come up with another candidate
If you think about it, it's not that outrageous. Many people on the left, including the President, want Obama to stay another four years. The law prohibits him from being re-elected so the only ways he can do it is by declaring martial law and suspending the election (which would be a very negative thing for the country) or to declare himself still President because the elected candidate cannot assume her duties.
The latter makes more sense and is actually more feasible. And since it's never been done before, it would set a precedent that would be difficult to challenge.
Of course, if Trump wins the election none of this is going to happen. But what if Pete is correct? Four more years of Obama and a mostly useless Republican House and Senate would give Obama the time he needs to continue destroying changing the country to fit his stated goals.
I thanked Pete for the ride home – and for messing up my day. Now I've got more things to worry about.
This sounds very unlikely. If Obama declared Martial Law there would be enough lawsuits filed to make their way up to the Supreme Court that even the leftists justices who hate the idea of suspending "rights," especially Habeas Corpus, would declare an Obama Martial Law illegal and remove him from office, most likely resulting in the Speaker of the House taking over under whatever measures can be taken to properly fill the vacancy.
I think it's more likely that no matter what the IRS finds, Loretta Lynch will refuse to convene a Grand Jury. The only chance we have of Hillary Clinton being indicted is if Trump beats her in November and his new Attorney General is sworn into office.
SHADOW- very interesting scenario! and it kinda goes along with my tin foil hat scenario.- Trump wins the election. the Democraps give the word to the black lies matters to start the race war that they have been cultivating. Obozo has to declare Martial Law to stop it and he gets to stay in power.
In every election I can remember, and that goes back a bit, I have heard one flavor or another of the "sitting president won't vacate the office" conspiracy. There are lots of things the american people will just roll over on, but thanks to George Washington a president not leaving office at the end of his term isn't one of them.
There is no provision that a person under indictment can't take office. They me immediately be impeached, and if convicted then the sworn vice president would take office. If he/she were also tainted and convicted in an impeachment, then .... and so on.
Donald Trump is very nearly my next to the last choice for President. In point of fact, I personally WOULD vote for Hillary, who I really can't stand, over Donald under two conditions. First, I would need clairvoyance (not assurance as she is extremely two faced) to see a future where she did not support gun control legislation or executive order and second, clairvoyance to see that her supreme court nominees are truly neutral and open to facts in gun law challenges. Of course neither of those is possible, and I have already lived through Clinton gun laws. Thanks to the makers that they had expiration dates.
So, I will vote for Trump.
And he will lose anyway.
Here is my conspiracy theory. I think Trump is secretly a democrat supporter, and he is deliberately and intentionally sabotaging the republican party in this election. (not really....But more believable to me than Obama not leaving office) :P
The outcome of the POTUS is scarier than Obummer's last 8 years. The SCOTUS is going to be very interesting to see who fills what places that exist. This election cycle will make or break the America as we know it, as our rights will be at stake and could result in a total civil war or if the election is deemed rigged, even a war against the government itself...
I will trust in Trump's attempt to make America Great before Hillary's certifiably corrupt practices with the current system.
Can Trump win?
Maybe.
Unlikely.
But we must hold both houses of congress. If we can do that, Hillary is a lame duck for at least the first 2 years, maybe 4. Then we can put up a REAL candidate against her in her reelection bid.

A real candidate?
Who?
Not McCain, Romney, Jeb, Cruz, or Sarah "the dummy" Palin.
As for a Civil War - I doubt it. People in this country are nothing but a bunch oh whiny cowards. Just like any phony, they will get the job done as soon as someone else does it for them.

Pretty much spot on. He's the farthest from a conservative, just a megalomaniac who showed how messed up the Republican party has become. GOP owns the problem. Needs to split into two parties with clear agendas/platforms and then just be "allied" with each other to beat the Dems. That's the one good thing that may come out of this Trump fiasco: it blows up the republican party.

Hope you're wrong. If the Repubs split, Hillary wins. If she wins, and appoints several SC justices, we can kiss the 2nd Amendment goodby. Game over.

Whenever almost anyone says what's really on their mind, and what they really think, it's almost inevitable that they will say some stupid things, or some outrageous things, or at the least, say some things that can be easily twisted to sound much worse than intended. The alternative, that we've all been getting from almost all of our politicians, is to be fed nothing but "verbal pablum". I'd rather hear some stupid and outrageous than verbal pablum.
^THIS!
I agree Mike. Hillary may need to be propped up more than just by CNN in the usual way.
I will say that if Trump loses I will have lost faith in the Republican party for good. All those so call Republicans who are not backing him and bad mouthing him have lost sight of the fact that the American people overwhelmingly put him where he is today, and they are going against the will of the American people. I will switch to a 3rd party and never vote Republican again as they have lost their way and no longer represent me.

Oh, I understand the implications of Hillary winning. And I don't support it at all. But, the Republicans no longer are conservative and have completely lost all that Reagan did for the Party and Country. They haven't been for the last few elections. And to make matters worse, they no longer have a clear platform. Educated middle class white voters were behind Romney, the less educated were not. It is the opposite today with Trump. You need both, as the Republicans have alienated African Americans and Trump is at record lows with Latino-Hispanics. That's the demographics and basics behind electology. Why is the White electorate split so much on the past two candidates? Because those two candidates are highly inconsistent with each other, and neither is a Reagan Republican.
GOP implosion has happened, but the reconstruction will not happen in time for this November, definitely not with Trump as the hope to accomplish such a thing. And to be honest, I don't want that liberal to be anywhere near the formation of a Party I would support into the future. Sure, stoopid says is better than stoopid does, but neither is a foundation on which to build a new Party for Conservatives.
Liberal progressive-ism is rampant.
The bottom line is that anyone who does NOT vote for Trump will be helping put Hillary in the presidency, and will be helping destroy the 2nd Amendment.

Can say, there's still a long way to go and it can still happen for Trump... gotta think positive cause the other way is crap for my kids ( not so much people my age ) with the Supreme court changes. What I don't get is how the gop can not be solid as any thing else is a Hippoclinton win
So, I think it's still a win for Trump, sent in a few $, hoping the gop gets their act together and gets in line.... this is the only way he can make it.
Breitbart was certiain it was the media pushing bad numbers, so they ran their own poll. Trump lost.
