Buckeye, sorry I gave up smoking Jan 1985 when cigarettes hit $1 per pack :-X ...occasional cigar or pipe during the early years. I will say this, I didn't realize just how nasty the smoking habit was, clothing all reeked of smoke, nicotine residue on all surfaces of the car and house when smoking was inside the those...
After I quit, I bought some firearms with the saved money! Why didn't I do that sooner? :o :))
Between drinking adult beverages and smoking had I put that same moneys to purchase firearms, I'd could open a firearms museum! :'(
I have been buying La Gloria Maduro's , CAO MX2's, Obsidian and some Rocky's. I am a big fan of Maduro's. If you buy from Cigars International I recommend trying the La Gloria Cubana Intro Sampler. Good smokes.
I've been on a Camacho Barrel Aged kick lately. Seems to be the best smoke with bourbon.
None.
They stink.
.
Parodis & De Nobalies. fine Tuscan cigars that not only keep the skeeters away, they kill them! ;D actually I really do smoke them occasionally. I rarely smoke cigars anymore but when I did they usually came from the Dominican Republic. La Aurora and Artz de Los Reyos are two brand names I remember. Cuban made cigars are over rated. Cuba and Hispanola (Dom. Republic) are geologically the same. when Fidel took over all the great cigar makers fled. many went to the Dominican Republic knowing that their tobacco would taste the same as it was in Cuba.
CAO LX2 all time favorite following by the CAO MX2
To me they all stink. Looks like your engaging in a same exact activity
In my teens I worked in the area of a guy that smoked a pipe, I was not offeneded by that smell but I have not seen anyone smoke a pipe in years and years
I used to puff on a pipe too. ;D but a pipe is high mantianace. cigars were more convenient, I pretty much quit smoking tobacco (never cigarettes) because I don't like the way it stinks up cars, houses, clothes, etc.. if someone gives me a good cigar I will smoke it while working outside or on the boat though. ;D
Been smoking cigars since college in early 70's. Now, smoke one or two a week and still enjoy a fine smoke.
Was an early customer of El Credito, LA Gloria Cubanos, and my regular cigar for many years was their Wavel Robusto, regular or Maduro.
Have smoked many kinds of cigars, Padrons, Cohiba, Montecristo especially #2's, Fuentes, too many to list.
My absolutely favorite cigar, quality and price wise, full of flavor, richness and overall satisfaction...
Hoyo De Monterrey Rothschilds Robusto OSCURO, Double Maduro.
Famous Smoke Shop and years ago JR, my favorite vendors.
Enjoy a good smoke!
I love a Brick House toro or mighty mighty.
I really miss the Miami Wavell's. To me personally, La Gloria's have not been the same since they moved to the Dominican Republic. I have purchased several over the last few years and ALL have been green and un-smokable.
The Hoyo De Monterrey Rothschilds Robusto OSCURO, Double Maduro are awesome.
