I bought a Trijicon site some years back... its been on a couple different guns. I mounted it on a 10-22 over the winter. Well it fudged up and elevation stopped working. I sent it in and as the months and emails crossed the country they finely agreed to honor the warranty.
My site was discontinued so I got a new RMR as a replacement. I think I will mount it on my G20. I have a base, cost me 80$.
Do any of you guys have this setup?
CW
No, but I was looking into doing something similar to my daughters' 10-22 with a comparable Burris optic. I'd be curious to see it on a G20. 8)
I want that same setup on my 20, but I haven't shot my 20 in almost a year now so it wouldn't get used enough to justify the expense.

Its the lightest, least obtrusive and overall, slickest setup I have used.

I know what you mean, I don't think I would spend the $$ myself! The site I bought was about three hundred. The RMR was almost SEVEN!?!?! But as My site was a discontinued model, broken, and they had no parts or ability to repair... They honored the lifetime warranty with a replacement.
I WOULD put it back on the 10-22, but the base is different and bases for the RMR are also expensive. I can almost buy a complete additional site for the cost of the base... I think I am going to pick up a Redfield reflex to try on it. I spent 50$ on the base for the 10-22 already, so want to use it.
I did not know the RMR had a proprietary base. Many where in the hundreds of dollars for just the base?! I did not want junk, but did nto want to break the bank either.

I have an RMR outstanding site and Trijicon is an outstanding company to deal with I had a scope go bad on my 458 SOCOM . They replaced no questions asked with a far more pensive model.
Now back to the RMR great sight I have it mounted on my model 40 shoot great groups.
I added some new optics to the 10-22 as the Optima I had on there failed..
This Redfield is working well and for just over 100$ cheap enough.

Its fits same base, so same clean mounting that I really wanted to be able to keep.
