Title: 9mm with BE-86 by The Shadow

   The Shadow loaded up a few of my sent pull-downs with BE-86. Here are the results:

BE-86 6.0gr's 115gr FMJ EAA Elite Limited 4.75" barrel 1277 FPS/ 416 LBS

BE-86 6.4gr's 115gr FMJ Springfield XD 4" barrel 1278, 1242. Average = 1260 FPS/ 405 LBS
                                    EAA Elite Limited 4.75" barrel 1324, 1315, 1315. Average = 1318 FPS/ 444 LBS

A couple more data points for the 6.4g load pushing an Xtreme 115g plated Hollow Point.  Results from a LabRadar.

CZ Scorpion w/ 7.75" Barrel:
5 shots

Average: 1448
High: 1459
Low: 1440
Extreme spread: 19 fps
Std deviation 7.9fps

CV Scorpion w/ 7.75" Barrel:
10 Shots

Average: 1444
High: 1464
Low: 1420
Extreme Spread: 44 fps
Std Deviation:14.6 fps

CZ 2075 RAMI w/ 3" Barrel
10 Shots

Average:1174
High:1201
Low:1160
Extreme Spread:41
Std Deviation:13.7

Nice loading!!!!  Fills the case well,  decent speed and energy.

Good info.  BE-86 is proving to be a very versatile powder in my testing.  I have developed several loads for 380, 9mm, 45ACP and 10mm with great results. Best thing is it is $139 for 8lbs locally.
