Anyone else enjoying the sig 10mm ammo? I stumbled across it just before Christmas and have since fired over 700 rounds of the fmj and about 4 boxes of the jhp.
It has some oomph and is a good deal around central maine. My guy has the fmj for 23 bucks plus tax and for that price I am having a hard time justifying many online ammo purchases. I just wish the major ammo companies could cram a few more grains of powder in their cases. I can buy ammo off the shelf for my S&W m&p 40c that is hotter than 10mm ammo and that just ain't right.
Anyway, the new tanfoglio has me on a 10mm kick again so I will be around here more. This is my meager contribution to the content of the site.
Cheers, Russ
I like the Sig ammo. It is reasonably priced and has some decent power to it.
Based on the pull-downs and the few I've shot in testing, the Sig Sauer 10mm ammo has been Good To Go! BTW the V-Crown is made by Sierra Bullets, they actually sell some of the bullets as components in various calibers.
Glad to hear your thoughts guys! Fred is getting me 10 more boxes.

I just bought 4 boxes of HP's. I'll be testing them tomorrow in the Sig 220.
I love the Sig Ammo I like to shoot it when I can find it.
I love it, great price, accurate, and decent power. Its shot great through all my 10 mm's. The brass is decent too for reloading.
Just grabbed 3 more boxes today. I have 9 boxes fmj stashed and 6 Jhp. Good stuff...

Does your FMJ have a decent crimp? I bought a bunch of boxes of the ammo when it first came out, and zero crimp, or rather still has a flare! Hangs in all my 10mm's. Run it through my Lee FCD, ammo feeds perfectly.
I shot 2 boxes of their 10mm FMJ today. Very accurate ammo in my Glock.
It's great ammo. Wish I could find locally at a low price more often. Good medium to high power. The others could learn a thing or two from Sig ammo. They'll probably notice when no one buys their FBI lite crap.
Federal/American Eagle is the one that shocks me. They admittedly say their newer Trophy Bond 10mm is loaded the way 10mm should be... yet they sell the watered down American Eagle FMJ's for a crazy price.
These companies don't realize how to load it across the board and sell it!
I usually see that stuff for 34 a box and was aware how badly it was loaded so I never bought one box.
