Has anyone ever tried sizing these to .40 and loading them in 10 mm? Can't get the idea out of my head...

I haven't done the GD's, but have with several other similar bullets (XTP, Nosler, Remington, etc.).  Copper jackets are difficult to resize, even with lots o' lube.  The (heavy) plated bullets do well, though.  For example, the Berry's .41 Mag 210 gr. FP sized to 0.401" lengthens from 0.654", to 0.670" (an 180 gr. XTP is 0.623", for comparison).  Jackets lengthen a little less, but the core to jacket tension is decreased, as the jacket is less malleable than a plating and springs back.  Bonded or non-bonded jacketed bullets were the same, and will not sized below 0.4015" in a 0.401" sizer.  The resized plated .41M bullets shoot VERY well in the 10mm and .38-40W.  The resized Berry's .41M 210 gr. FP bullet holds up to velocities exceeding 1500 FPS, and are very accurate.  I have this bullet at about 1200 FPS in the G20 with a LWD 5.2" barrel.  That's where I left off, and it's still a work in progress.  I'm certain I can get it up to about 1300 FPS, perhaps more, safely.  At 1300 FPS, that's 787 FPE.
