I had real FTF issues with it on previous trip. As always it's wicked accurate if I am.
Went to range yesterday, it hated my hand loaded HAP Bullets loaded to OAL of 1.258 (FTF)
But virtually 100% function with sig 180 fmj factory ammo.
My conclusion is I can't go long with this gun.
I thought the pointy more rounded HAP would be a good load, but they need to be shorter.
Hopefully Pablo and Mr. Pipe Smoker will comment on the OAL assumption.

any tips on ftf that seems to be my biggest issue with mine
Tell me more about how the HAP rounds hung up.
At first mine wouldn't cycle the Sig ammo because of zero crimp at the case mouth. But those rounds would not even feed in my Glock. I ran the Sig ammo through my Lee FCP and they feed perfectly in my Glock now. Need to try in AR.
So did you slickerize the BCG and such?
I am really worried about Mr. Pipe Smoker. He was really sick and stopped answering PM s few months back.
Took mine to range last week. Ran off 1st 27 rounds perfect. (HAP 9.1 long shot)Then started getting firing pin just barely denting primer. Tried Sig FMJ also with same barely dented)
I think if I file the bolt just a few 000s, this will fix. Seems easiest.
Let me know if you think there's a better way to go.

It seems really odd it just started doing this after running fine. I have to ask is your firing pin bent? (Mine was)
What trigger are you using? Don't file anything until you rule out light hammer strikes caused by AR issues such spring placement broken spring, goofy hammer etc.
Timney AR trigger. gold housing, don't remember the model number.
There is a fine ring on firing pin ring where the bolt contacts the firing pin, so it appears that the firing pin is hitting the bolt. I could swap the firing pin from another AR I guess.
yes try that
