Title: FMJ 175 Gr Recipes - HOT
Post by: Pablo on May 06 2016 08:21:48 AM MDT
I received some really nice 10mm FMJ plinking rounds - 175 grains. I see a few recipes. And I suppose I could use 180gr FMJ recipes, but what do you guys recommend? Any hot 175gr recipes?

Well, Blue Dot does come to mind for a decent shooting round!

10.4 grains nice accurate target loading and 11.0 grains for a little hotter performance...If these are plated bullets they may not hold up to the upper level of performance. :D

Can say the Xtreme heavy plated 180 held up ok with 11 gr of BD,... pulled from sand, deformed yes, but plating held well.

180 gr data would be suitable. If I want speed and groups,  that is typically Blue Dot or #9 in my G20.
