Title: 40 S&W; Lyman 401043 and LEE 401-175-TC
Post by: RDub01 on April 28 2016 10:36:43 PM MDT
After casting up a bunch of these two bullets, I loaded up some loads for each I thought might work well..

The Lee bullet was shot as cast and an Alox treatment.  The Lyman bullet was sized .401 in a Lyman 450.

I started shooting these with a clean barrel and didn't foul first. So I think that first errant round on the 5.8 WSF target was due to that. That's my story and I'm stickin to it..

Average weight of the Lee bullet was 169grs, not 165..
