Title: Suggestions for aftermarket add-ons for my Glock 29SF
Post by: Trailrunner on April 14 2016 05:36:32 AM MDT
Looking for suggestions on customizing my 29SF. Barrels, recoil springs, triggers, sights etc. I have the Pearce mag extensions and am now looking for an extra G20 mag. The 10mm bug has bitten me and it looks like I'm all in!

I have added the Storm Lake 10mm & 40S&W conversions and LWD 357Sig and 9x25 Dillon conversions for mine, because of being a handloader and plenty of 40S&W and 357Sig brass these just added to the flexibility and versatility of this gun.
The 9x25 was because I was already loading them for another pistol... ;D

I also added the Wolff Gunsprings non captive recoil rod and dual 21 lb springs (use most often) and 23 lb springs (when testing and load development)

What's not to love about this little pistol?

When I purchased my G29sf it came with a Lone Wolf 10mm barrel, non captive recoil rod(with 21lb spring), Pearce Grips on 2 magazines, and a low profile magazine release. I have only had it six months or so, I'm still in the process of acquiring ammunition and more magazines. I have a G30sf so I had holsters to fit my G29sf. I did grab a Advanced Holster Mini-Concealment and it works great. Thin and light weight helps when carrying IWB(it also will work for a G22/23/17/19, etc, etc. Everything but the 42 and 43. I plan to get a Gen 4 G19 in the future)

I want to try the Concealable Control magazine bases and the Lightning Strike base pad. Someday I'll get the 40S&W, 357 Sig, and 9x25 Dillion barrels(extended and ported), but it will be a long time. I don't reload yet, another thing on my "To Do List for 10mm".

For now I practice dry firing, and this last week started practicing reloading magazines while moving.

I posted pictures of my "new" G29sf. I had some frame tweaking completed by Stalwart Defense. Great improvement in the grip.

Maybe a paintjob.......just add a holster and ammo..then it is perfect!
