Here's mine:
Glock 20 Gen4 (alternated with a Glock 29 when clothing dictates) carried AIWB in a RCS Vanguard 2
Carry ammo is Underwood: 165gr Bonded Defense when in (sub)urban areas or 200gr XTPs in the woods
A spare mag in a Kytex mag carrier (with a spare mag in the car)
Benchmade Griptilian knife with drop point blade (with a Benchmade 916 Triage in the car or bag)
Powertac E5 light (VERY bright! 700 lumens on high)
Leatherman Wave (on belt, in car or bag) with some paracord and a firestarter kit
mini box cutter (to avoid having to whip out the "scary" knife)
... and the usual stuff: wallet, too many keys, cell phone, sunglasses, ink pen
Delta elite
Varies by day. Either a Glock 29 or a P16-40 converted to 10mm. Both are carried IWB in crossbreed holsters.
Generally I have a couple two-three folders on me or in my bag as well.
s0nspark, how do you like that RCS Vanguard 2 holster? I've been using a Zach, which is the same idea as their original Vanguard, but I like the idea of a tuckable version. Does it work as well as it looks?
G19 with Underwood 124gr +P+ for me, most of the time, otherwise a RMR'ed G21. (I still claim to be a 1911 guy.) And, of course, a decent 3" folding knife (SOG Flash II at the moment, hopefully soon a Benchmade 581 Barrage), a small Leatherman micro tool or two, two bright LED lights, ball point pen, sharpie, wallet, cash, etc.

To be honest I got it to tide me over until I could decide on a good holster... that is still the official plan but I find it works really well - so well that I am not in a major hurry to replace it.
The only downsides to it I've found are that sometimes the front sight snags slightly on my pants on the draw and it doesn't give you any protection from the gun so it can get a little uncomfortable and require slight adjustments throughout the day.
Great piece of kit, though.
Hey, do you have any pics of that RMR'd G21? :-)

Very nice Yondering! Zombies, sasquaches, and chupacabras, beware.
I have two EDC PM9 Kahr and a XDS 45 ACP.
Normal CCW is a FNH 5.7 x28 loaded with Elite ammunition self defense rounds.

If you mean the RMR installation, that was Mark Housel at L&M Precision Gunworks. http://www.landmprecisiongunworks.com/services/ (http://www.landmprecisiongunworks.com/services/)
I do recommend his services; fast, good work, and reasonably priced.

Yes, sorry, that is what I meant. I've actually talked to Mark about milling my slide for an RMR - I guess I need to get moving on it :-)
Commander length 1911 10mm in a Brigade M-11 IWB holster. Second magazine in my offside rear pocket or (sometimes and) two mags in a belt mag holder. Bought the Leatherman Juice XE6 for camping, but it's now part of my EDC. Small and very useful.

Winter, Sig 229 in 40 or 357 sig.
Glock 20SF or my Glock 21 gen4. Summer or Winter

My RIA 10mm 1911 in a Galco Original Jackass Shoulder. G 20 for home and vehicle carry. When I'm running low on 10mm ammo I carry my RIA 1911 in 45ACP. I do shoot my 10's weekly and am better with those than my 45.
Dennis
My primary EDC is usually a Ruger SR-40, I got it cheap and won't shed a tear if it's confiscated or lost, but it holds 15 rounds and fits my hand really well. When I'm out on my own it's usually a really sweet Springfield Armory 1911- A1 in stainless, swapping out parts got me the configuration I prefer and a perfectly crisp 3-lb trigger. 90% of my CCW time is with these two, I like my 10mm Witness a lot but it's too bloody big to carry except in winter, when I generally wear an FNP-45 under a heavy coat.

First is my daily carry, my Witness 10mm DuoTone Semi Compact
Then it would be my CZ75 DuoTone Semi in 9mm

When I get my CCL, I will be carrying the XDm 45, 3.8". The 1006 is a tad too large for concealed carry, for me anyway.
G20 in a Galco Jackass shoulder double pouch winter.1006 in a snap hip holster Model 5 Bianchi and Galco suede IWB for Witness compact.
22mag pmr30 or glock20
Walther PPS 9mm in a Crossbreed Supertuck.
Primarily a Glock 26 Gen 4. I love it as it is small enough to squeeze into a larger pocket yet large enough to shoot very well. I've also carried on the belt & inside the pants. I just purchased a Galco Fletch High Ride which has become my favorite way to carry as it is an extremely comfortable holster.
Kimber Ultra Carry II .45
Glock 20SF or Delta Elite....alternate depending on how I feel.
G20SF and/or G29SF.
Glock 29SF or Keltec PF9, both in JS Kydex IWB. I am trading/selling the G29 for a Gen 4 G20. I do "OK" with the G29SF, but I like the Gen 4 grip on the 20 and the longer sight radius. The KelTec PF9 is a nifty little pistol, and one in which I use a lot in dress clothes, etc. I like the fact it is small, yet is 9mm. I am having trouble getting it to be 100% reliable with Corbon DPX 115, had a buff and puff job done to it and need to try them again; so far, PowerBall works swell. I had a wrist joint replaced in my strong hand, and 1911s make my hand swell when shot a lot, so I switched to Glocks and do better. However, the little kelTec PF9 is pretty snappy, so it may get swapped for a G26 later. The G29 has been a handful for my wrist, but still not painful. It is brutal with the factory recoil assembly, the DPM helps a lot. I have never cottoned to the G20 full grip nor even the SF, but the Gen 4 has enough subtle differences I prefer it. I carried 1911 Govt for decades, so full size doesn't bother me, unless my ministerial duties conflict, which is often. That's why I like the JS IWB; it goes on and comes off easy and is very thin, yet surprisingly comfortable. I do love the 10mm though, powerfull yet flat shooting. It was a revelation to me, replaced my M1 carbine trunk gun!
My EDC, Gen3 G19c in a HHH Ranger Rig.
Well, I was carrying the G-29 and still do from time to time...however I mostly carry the G-30 in the JS IWB stuffed with Remington Golden Sabers.
Both are capable guns and I prefer the potent 10mm, but if "God Forbid" I am involved in a shoot out, I would hate to have LEO's take and hold the pistol for evidence, or in the case of when you may have to leave your firearm in your vehicle at a location, I'd hate to have my 10mm gun stolen or any for that matter. I used to carry the S&W1006, but seeing how they don't make them any more, I only use it on occasions for range work or hunting purposes.
I had my vehicle broken into, not once but twice that morning, a few years back (hotel stay while taking classes for FD), in the process of checking out and breakfast with some local law enforcement, they broke in and stole some items, but missed the firearms. Lucky!
I sold a project rifle and paid cash for my G20 Gen4. I "was" going to trade my 29Sf in on it, but had another thought ( ta daa) I rented a G30 at a local range and shot it some, liked it very much. I figured I would trade the 29Sf for either a G30 Gen 4 or a Gen 3 G36. When I went to pick up the G20, lo and behold, in the used gun case was a G30 Gen 4. I was able to swing a swap even across for it! It really fits my hand better than the 29SF, just subtle differences, but enough help. I have it over at my smiths to install a set of Ameriglo Pro operator night sights and a 3.5# connector. It fits my JS kydex holster perfectly ( saved me $65) I had some Corbon DPX +P 185 DPX on hand ( I really like them) but sent off for some Federal 230 HST ( non +P) to try. My smith had already put on a set of Ameriglos/ 3,5# connector on my G20. I am getting pretty jazzed, ha

Sounds awesome :-)
I go back and forth between my Gen4 G20 and G29... The G20 carries better and feels best in my hand but I do carry the G29 a fair amount of the time. I guess I'm trying to even things out LOL
In iether case, the Gen4s feel a lot better in my hands than the Gen3 SF models... they feel just a bit more rounded to me and I love the texture. The new mag release is a real improvement too IMO.
Congrats on yours! ;-)
I carry Three, not at the same time though, :))
(1) RIA CS .45cal. 3 1/2''
(2) RIA MS .45cal. 4''
(3) RIA FS .10MM 5''
I carry the Glock 22, tried the G20 and 20SF just to big.

Lately Heckler & Koch P9S in 9mm. I still carry my 1076 on occasion.
I carry 2....a 9mm P11 with 13 rounds of Fed Hydro-shok 124 gr. and a Para P 6.45 with 7 rounds of Rem 230 gr. Golden Sabres. The Para is heavy but shoots great and rides IWB in a Desantis and P11 rides in a pocket holster from the same.
Depends on when and where I'm going, STI Lawman 3.0 45acp, Ruger SP101 357mag, Rohrbaugh R9 9mm.
My 20C 10mm was my primary EDC for the longest time but I have picked up a Glock 29. I have varied from the Corbon hunter killers to Buffalo bore JHP's which I carry now.
It really depends on the season and the clothing I'm wearing. 3 mid/compacts for winter and 2 micros for summer. Glock 29, Walther PPQ, Ruger SR40c, Kahr CM9, Ruger LCP.

All my carry guns are either Tennifer, Cerakote or Stainless. In some cases they are Cerakoted Stainless.
They still get beat up over time. Blue is one of the least durable finishes though.
look back at this post and I already have changed my rotation but just to be clear I do so only after shooting 1000 or more rounds in defensive drills.
Now I carry mostly a Model 29 in my own IWB very unique holster.
I also rotate in a Stainless SP 101 with bobbed hammer and Laser grips along with a XS big dot front sight this gun is stoked with 357 Mag 125 grain JHP.
Woods gun is still my Model 21 with 200 grain hard cast WFN
Gen 3 Glock 29, Underwood 180gr Gold Dots. Comp-tac Infidel Ultra Holster.
M&P Shield .40 in a TT Gunleather IWB holster
In my pocket is a Shield in 9mm XS Big Dot sights and Lasermax CF laser. In my 5.11 bag that goes everywhere with me is a Ruger SR9c, on my Hip is either a S&W MP 9mm or a EAA Witness 10mm. Knife is a Boker Investagator Kershaw Clash and a CRKT Folts Mimnalist around the neck. Light 190 lumens. plus spare mags For all pistols. And if you are wondering what I am scared of the answer is NOTHING. All 9mm are stocked with Gold Dot 124+p Witness 180gr Underwood.
Shield .40 in IWB cross breed clone.
One of three 1911's
G29, G30 or a S&W 640
It will be an RIA 2011 10mm in a Crossbreed IWB holster.
CRKT K.I.S.S.
My EDC is my G29 or in the winter I may carry my G20
Update for my old post here. Ruger lcp, Ruger lc9s, Ruger sr40c, glock29, Walther ppq. Clothing dictating what size I carry. Would like to carry some others but they're on the huge side and no holsters for 'em.
I only carry my ria 10mm now. I am still waiting on aliengear for the witness holster.
My current setup is a FMK 9c1g2 and a spare mag in custom iwb leather. I also keep a SOG Flash II in my pocket and a Leatherman Wave on my belt. When i have enough rounds through my witness to trust it I will add it into the rotation.
Gun wise its one of a few, glock 20, glock 23, a ruger lc9s or a bond arms derringer in 45lc/410. Usually carried with 3" #5 410 shells.
knife is usually my zero tolerance 566 black wash
Light is usually a streamlight pro tac 2aa.
I just upgraded to this .40 S&W VE, augmented by ZT301 'Tiger'. At other times, it's a NAA Guardian .380.

Of course, If I'm contemplating any 'heavy action' there's always the 10mm DW, and Mossy 12 gauge shotgun.
Zephyr, you need any extra magazines for that sigma? i have 5 or 6 i think left from the one i had.
Glock Gen4 G27 or G29 in Crossbreed IWB holster and a Benchmade AFO-II Auto Tanto.
Those SD's are quite nice for what they cost. They should add a 10mm option.
Lately it's been a Glock 22 Gen 4 or S&W 4506-1 , occasionally my 40 Shield..

My regular CCW is a Dan Wesson CCO 1911 .45ACP in either a Milt Sparks Axiom or Nexus.
At times I also carry a Glock 19 in either a Milt Sparks NLG or a Bulman OWB.
When I finish testing my new Glock 20 SF, this will be my primary back country AND nightstand and office pistol.
My carry gun is generally a Glock 19 loaded with Speer 124+P Gold Dots. I also carry my Kimber from time to time. Recently I have been carrying a Glock 20 when an outside the waistband holster is appropriate.
Seasonal due to clothing for me. Typically G22 in cold weather; G27 in warm weather.

currently a Glock21 45acp....just got into the 10mm world and my ria ms tactical had to go bac to armscorp... but when i retire in a couple, if the ria runs smooth as i think it will, it may vary well be my daily. also blade wise, usually a cheaper folder like a buck and maybe a scrapyard 511 on belt.
:: Gen 4 Glock 20 (in Unruly Khaki) in an AIWB Kydex rig of my own design (edcholster.net)
:: spare mag, support side
:: Underwood 135 gr.
:: SureFire Backup
:: el cheapo Buck folder, support side (for mundane cutting chores)

I do carry a few other items besides those pictured. However the pictured items are the majority of my edc. Ammunition is Underwood 10mm 140 gr Xtreme Penetrator.

Wow...This thread is 5 years old now, or will be in a month or two.
I thought I would update since my carry habits change.
My standard EDC now is a G20 Gen 3 SF in a Vedder LightTuck IWB Kydex carried at full cant at 1:00, appendix. If I need a smaller gun, the G29 is next up.
And a S&W CK46BT Extreme Ops Tanto, a Leatherman Wave and a Case Medium Stockman.
I will play;
PPQ
S&W 642 Performance shop enhanced
Glock 43
Springfield 1911 9mm
Springfield 1911 Operator 45 ACP
I carry most of all my guns in N-8 Squared or Simply Rugged holsters
woods walkers and hunting;
Remington R3 Long slide.
MOS Glock 40
Reeder 41 GNR
Simply Rugged or DD holsters.
Glock 43 or Gen4 Glock 19

I also have switched my EDC. Now carrying a Glock 29 Gen 4 in a Zorn Wraith Kydex IWB or an Alein Gear 3.0 Cloak Tuck. The G29 is loaded with Underwood 165gr JHP. I also carry a G20 extra mag.

Ammo is Federal Premium Tactical 125g. HST.
In my pocket 24/7 a Ruger LCP and when I leave the house a Sig P365 usually AIWB.
i am actually carrying my Springfield XDM-10 now that she has night sights and a cool looking ceracote slide!! Taking her to stoner holsters to get a nice fitted leather home for inside the pants carry, or my trusty colt series 70 gov model 45auto.
95% of the time it's a Browning HiPower, and a S&W 442. Sometimes a Kahr PM9 rides along also.
Ammo is 9mm Winchester Ranger 127+P+ and .38 Spl 158 SWC-HP +P.
Other honorable mentions:
1911s of different varieties
HK P7M8
S&W 65 3"
S&W 69 4"
Haven't changed... still G20/3 with a Supertuck IWB
only change is sometimes Win Silvertips , sometimes Sig HPs, sometimes XTPs in 200gr
Kimber Ultra Carry 45acp. Picked it up from the first run of them years ago.
I have a G29 I carry quite often loaded with Federal Hydro-shok.
My reload is a G20 mag with an x-grip.
Right now mine's one of these:
EDC Ruger LCP II in a DeSantis pocket holster
Sig P365 in a Crossbreed MiniTuck
G20 in a DeSantis pocket holster for home defense
G40 in a Diamond D chest holster when hunting
... depending on dress, weather, situation, and mood.
I would absolutely adore a 10mm designed in the pattern and philosophy of the 365, but since that doesn't exist, I'm left carrying lesser arms.
Also...
Olight S2R
Fisher Space Pen
Kershaw Cryo
Leatherman Juice CS2
iPhone XS
Wallet
Burt's Bees lip balm
Extra mag, mag protector depends on pistol
Sukecchi credit card measuring tool
Depending on the day, sometimes a Sheffield 1282 folding utility knife
... a good belt.
My Springfield XDM!-10 in a stoner iwb leather holster and an extra mag. Carry mag loaded with silvertips, extra mag with either 200g underwood xtp or federal 180 trophy match (1290FPS ).buck folder in my pocket.
for a long time my EDC/truck pistol was my S&W 59 9mm. a few months ago I bought a Beretta PX4 in .40 S&W. (LEO trade in) it is now my EDC/truck pistol and the Mod. 59 is my "night stand" pistol. when I CC, depending on what I am wearing, where I am going and what I expect when I get there, it will be my Colt Officers .45 acp, CZ 82 9x18, P-64 9x18, Walther PPK/s .380 or LCP .380.
Since my previous post 5 or six years ago I've upgraded my work gun to a S&W MP-40 with two spare 15-round mags on the gunbelt, along with all the other usual foofaraw, lights, cuffs, knife, tool kit, radio, etc. My Ruger SR-40 has been relegated to bedside duty, and my EDC is now (mostly) a S&W Shield in 45ACP with a laser on the trigger guard bow, and a spare mag in a pocket or belt pouch.

I had a 40 Shield but while it was alright because I like the 40, it was too snappy and loud to be enjoyable. The day I got the 45 version I sold the 40, and have never regretted it.

While I like the 45 Shield, I also carry a Kimber Pro Carry II in 45, it's the closest thing I have to a BBQ gun, and it carries almost as well.

After cutting my teeth on revolvers, I have to admit that I don't carry them as defensive guns anymore, I only shoot them for fun. But I still have a dozen or so, and they all get shot now and again. And I could go back to a six-shooter as a duty gun, that's how I got started 35 years ago!
Spyderco Caly 3.5
On Duty Glock 23 w/TRL-1 HL and 3 spare 13 rounds mags, and S&W Shield 45 for back up. Off duty the Shield, Glock 43 or XDM 9 w/Vortex Venom depending on attire or weather. When Safariland makes a holster for the XDM that protects the Vortex and is light bearing for the TRL-1 HLI will switch to that for duty.
XDS9, loaded with old school +p+ federal ammo.
