Title: 1911 fans: Ruger 1911 or Springfield STAINLESS Range Officer??

Close to my next 45 and THINK I have it paired down to these two.  Main use will be recreation, range, etc.  Would appreciate any feedback if you have first hand experience with either.

That's a tough call.  I've shot both and their very similar.
Don't think you could go wrong with either one.
