Is there anyone that reloads for the 10mm revolver?
The revolver can possibly take more than the semi autos, but most load to the safer semi auto levels.
The primers can back out and tie up the cylinder from turning and the cases still can split or crack despite the better case support...
There is plenty of load data in the pull downs and reloading sections to study that range from mild to wild...
Longshot 9 grns with 180 gr FMJ for light plinking. 9.5+ easy if you work up to it. The beauty of a revolver MAY be longer OAL with heavier bullets.
The reason i ask is i bought some 135gr Federal expanding full metal jackets from Midway. I didnt notice that they are cantalur bullets and way too long for loading in an automatic. I have about 700 i would like to get rid of.

Really? I have some of those bullets too. I think you load them quite light over a fast powder, seat to proper OAL and they will be fine(?)
You don't have to crimp on the cannelure. Seat them to the proper coal and carry on.
But if you take them to recommended coal, they are way to deep in the case. A buddy blew his xdm up with these on starting loads of CFE pistol. They measure to about the length of a 280gr bullet. I want no part of them in my glock 20.
Opps....180gr

Methinks something else was wrong..........wait XDM, well that's a .40SW. I could see that. Very light powder, even below 135gr bullet weight.
If they are as long as a 180 grain use the data for a 180 grain and you should be just fine at standard COAL.
I had as soon sell them. Lol im a chivken. And will sell them cheap. 700 rounds.... $90 plus shipping.

I'm interested. I load/shoot other .40 caliber cartridges that aren't 10/40, and the cannelure is appealing. Do you have a retail link to the specific bullet?
