Title: Need a barrel for my glock 21
Post by: jasonheimerm on March 04 2016 07:03:34 PM MST
Getting a Glock 21 gen 3 SF. Plan is to convert it to 10mm. Anyone have a lead on conversion barrel  for best price and in stock? Would like an extended  if possible.  Either extended, extended  and ported  or  threaded  but qill deap with a rwg barrel as well.  Aslo a lead on hicap glock 20 mags  would be awesome.

Or.. im gettina  lone wolf 45acp barrel with it as well, so if anyone has a 10mm barrel  they dont  use and want a 45acp barrel maybe can do a swap.

Thanks in advance

No idea on the barrel right now, and havent noticed any mags recently but i have not looked hard.
Mine are all the 15 rounders and 3 have the pierce +2 extensions and those have been just as reliable as the stock mags

I forgot to add before, aim surplus usually has some good prices on glock mags. Copes distributing also runs sales periodically, I got 3 for $60 shipped early last year. $20ea with free shipping over $50.
Their normal shipping is only $9.95 flat rate.

LWD and OEM G20/40 barrels work well in the G21/41 slide. Others may work, but I haven't tried them. If your Gen3 has LCI, there will be NO issues with the extractor. However, non-LCI extractors cause ejection issues in some cases, requiring a 10mm extractor, firing pin safety, and LCI plunger bearing. Storm Lake offers G21/41 10mm conversion barrels, but they will not fit in a 10mm slide, if the need ever occurs. 10mm in the (lighter) .45 slide needs an upgraded RSA, 20# for off the shelf ammo, or 22# for full power stuff (it will cycle lesser ammo fine, as well). Frame and ejector battering occurs, with OEM or too light springs.

I bought my Storm Lake barrel from Optics Planet for around the price of a Lone Wolf.  I have 10% coupon from OP.

As far as mags, best price I found was $20 plus $10 shipping.  I ended up with 15 mags to save money with shipping.

EBay has the Storm Lake barrels  standard and 6" lengths!
As well as all of your other glock upgrades.
