Title: Foggy Morning Pig Hunting .....
Post by: frankt on February 11 2016 10:13:11 AM MST
No pigs were harmed in the making of this picture...

Paper company is cutting timber close by and may have the pigs messed up.

It was a nice foggy morning and I expected to see pigs at anytime. I was in the stand an hour before shooting light nbut they never showed.

I wanted to get my G40 in the picture.

Good luck, hope your hunt is scusseful!  Your G40 is certainly up to the task if you put the shot into the right spot.  Hunting over a feeder...  In Texas?

Georgia! Virtually no restrictions on hunting pigs on private land.
Season always open
Any weapon, night or day, bait or dogs or hand grenades.

It has been tough lately. They are logging on part of the land and the pigs are really nocturnal. I hope they get done soon and pigs get back to normal routine.

Better than being at work, pig or no pig!

years ago we hunted pigs down by Macon GA that was good time for a Midwest guy. Admittedly we used dogs but it was blast just the same.

Same thing here in Florida except for the logging part, those critters down here are everywhere
