This seems kind a high compared to new brass from star line
I thought it when I saw the link last night. But, if there is another market panic this might become the only option for some people.
Also, for max loads, once fired brass may be a stronger option than new brass.
Why would once fired brass be better than new brass for hot loads??

It isn't. There may be some remote condition that may make once fired brass "harder", but that usually equates to more brittle. Either condition may be good or bad, depending on application. To say "once fired brass is better", simply isn't accurate.
