The powder looks like Hodgdon CFE Pistol and Hodgdon shows 8.0 grains @ 1346 with the Speer 125 GD-HP 38,900 PSI

The crimp is there to prevent setbacks which are a known issue with 357 Sig 's short neck casing. The scratches are more likely from the rough edges of the case mouth, they don't campher them also because they want tight crimp.
I shot some of this yesterday from my G20 with a LW barrel. I was not impressed. I will try again another day. Maybe I had a bad day. :(

The barrel shot to the right, it made large groups, and it didn't feel as good as my 9x23 loads.

I shot again today. I got 5 shot groups @ 25 yards from a sand bag that were silver dollar size, but they were 2" to 3" to the right and 3" to 4" high. So precision was good, but accuracy was off. I am not real worried about height since I am using the stock plastic Glock 20 sights.
The 357 SIG cartridge felt funny. I do not know if it was because I was shooting from a Glock 20 (10mm) pistol. It kinda felt like my Beretta 92. With all my other Glocks in various calibers, and my other semi-auto guns, when you pull the slide back if does it in an almost smooth fashion. With the Beretta 92 you can feel a distinctive clunk from the locking block dropping down. That is what the G20 with 357 SIG gun felt like when I shot it. It felt like there was a specific unlocking clunk then the slide went back. Ejects were moderate to weak. I have seen other 357 SIG guns throw brass 10 to 15 feet. Maybe the slide had too much mass.

I have noticed less ejection distance with the 357 Sig and 9x25Dillon than the 10mm ammo from my G-29, the 357 just drops at my feet and 9x25's about 4' to 6'. The 9x25's do the same from my S&W1006 & G-20SF as well. The impulse is different with the bottleneck cartridges.
I notice the same thing. Just this morning, I did a bunch of load development with .357S, the objective being developing an ideal load for the ~3.5" barrel. I used my G27 with a G33 stock length barrel (3.4" Alpha Wolf) and OEM RSA, along side a factory stock G33. The G27 .357S brass dribbled out about 4-5 feet, the G33 a little further. 9mm Luger in the G27 pistol fall about 1-2 feet. .40's in the same pistol in stock trim are more harsh (relative word), and eject 8-10 feet. The cause is the bore diameter, and to a lesser degree, the bore volume, all else being equal.
I think I figured out where the clunk comes from. When the 357 SIG cartridge is fired the case expands and the small shoulder presses forward against the barrel and breach causing the slide to stretch a little. After the bullet leaves and the pressure drops, the slide and brass case relax. As the brass relaxes around its circumference, it gets an ever so slight bit longer (like re-sizing a brass case does during reloading) which causes it to press forward against the chamber and breach. As the barrel unlocks by sliding downward during recoil the brass case is still pressing against the breach and shoulder resisting movement movement. A non-bottlenecked cartridge like 10mm, 40S&W, 9mm, or 45ACP doesn't do that. I think the clunk I am feeling is either that resistance or when the resistance is released after the barrel finally unlocks. I put a spend 10mm and 357SIG brass case in each respective barrel, and the 10mm barrel moved freely from lock to unlock while the 357SIG required almost 2 thumbs to press the barrel in and out of lock position.

One thing that does come to mind is; Are you setting the shoulder back too far? I am sizing to try and maintain a zero headspacing. If you set the shoulder back too far, when fired, it will snap out to fit the chamber. Could that be what you are feeling?
Also if over sized where you have -0.002" below the barrel hood or more you may see split case necks at the shoulder and in some instances separations.

I sent the barrel back to Lone Wolf several months ago. They re-crowned the barrel. It now shoots where it is suppose to shoot.
