Got back from Medellin Colombia on Friday night. I love the food there, but traveling outside the US really makes me appreciate our rights here.
On Tuesday on the way to Lunch we passed a squad of soldiers walking down the side of the street, fully armed. Looked just like a standard patrol. I was struck at that moment by how ill equiped the people there were to resist tyranny.
Glad to be home and have a Glock 20 on my person again.
Totally understandable that we sort of feel naked when we can't carry some protection...
Scary, isn't it? Welcome home and I'm glad you made it back safely.
