Title: What length Grand Power poll?
Post by: Intercooler on December 02 2015 04:10:31 AM MST
After you make your selection it would be interesting to hear the intended use. I'm interested in seeing if it will be primary carry, range piece, deep woods, etc...

I'd opt for the 5" as a first choice, 4.25" would pack better for CC purposes...For woods carry a 6" may be the better choice.
I just like the rotating barrel design concept because it is different...not a 1911 clone!

The 4.25" presents a size that I haven't owned yet. I think I would opt for the Hunter's 6" size versus the 5" for woods.

I voted 4.25", but might end up with both.

I will say this. If you thought 10mm was loud and had a good muzzle flash before, prepare yourself for the 4.25.

I have a video somewhere of shooting Blue Dot out of my RIA 4.25 10mm and WOW that was some serious flame getting close up there to the big boy revolvers.

Its also the only firearm I have shot without ear pro (total accident, had the muffs around my neck rather than in my ears) that genuinely hurt my ears. As in actual pain. Lots of unburnt powder with that short of a barrel and true 10mm loads.
