The Tanfoglio Hunter 10mm came across my radar a couple weeks ago as a potential pig whacker and fun range gun. There's not a ton of info out there on these guns like there are on any of the main stream guns but, the info out there seems to be pretty positive for the Hunter. So I just picked up one from Bud's. I see that Henning's make a fiber optic front sight for these. Has anyone put one on their Hunter and was it a worthwhile upgrade for you? Anyone purchased the Henning aluminum grips for the Hunter? I like the idea of the red checkered grips on the black Hunter frame but think they might be a bit too loud. So possibly the black checkered might be the better option. Thoughts?
Intercooler will be the guy to advise you on these questions. He is a hardcore Tanfoglio guy.
I had mine converted to DA/SA. Had to special order the parts from EAA over the phone. I don't like carrying cocked and locked or having to remember to pull the hammer back in an emergency. It's my sidearm of choice in bear country.
