From the article:
QuoteAsk yourself: If that was Denver, Col., if that was Texas, would those guys have been able to spend hours, days, shooting people randomly?" Noble said, referring to states with pro-gun traditions. "What I'm saying is it makes police around the world question their views on gun control. It makes citizens question their views on gun control. You have to ask yourself, 'Is an armed citizenry more necessary now than it was in the past with an evolving threat of terrorism?' This is something that has to be discussed. - Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble (ABC News Link reference above)
I think it would be brilliant if this idea took root. I really like Paris, and would like it even more if they recognized my CCW.
This is something I think many are thinking but not speaking - makes one wonder doesn't it
Yes it does.
Unfortunately, on the heals of the above article, we see this:

Looks like they are also pushing for a complete ban on semi-auto rifles.
What happened in Paris can easily happen anywhere in the US, most of the killings were bombing victims. 4 terrorists killed less than 150, its horrible but is could have been worse.

Typical Left-Think. Believing criminals and terrorists obey laws. All it will do is create a richer black market. Last I checked, Russia, China and the ME countries aren't members of the EU. The weapons used in the attacks were unlawful, before the first shot was fired. It was illegal to hijack airplanes in 2000, too.
