Senior moment today. Thought I had the .357 and when I got there it was the .44 :o Probably okay anyway, it was packed! I'm headed back tomorrow to get these done!
Cheaper than 38's.
Perfecta .357 158gr FMJ
Ruger GP100 6" barrel 1230, 1235, 1206, 1249, 1216, 1204, 1204. Average = 1220.57 FPS/ 523 LBS
Not bad for target shooting!
Not bad at all! I wonder how their 44 mag is?
Stopped at my local Walmart, they had the 38 Special in same grain and price. I will gobble these up when I see them. 357 goes for around $31 a box around me.
They didn't have stock of .38 Special the day I was there. Finding a good priced and strong .44 round is a challenge! It's all like > $40 a box!
44 Magnum is expensive, 357 in line price wise with 10mm and feel is very compatible.
Gotta load 44 magnum if you wanna shoot it very much.
I think the .357-38 Revolver and 10mm-40 Autos are the perfect combo.
Heck 44 Specials cost more than Magnums and are harder to find.
They are certainly ballistic twins. Makes for easy hold overs at distance when they have such similar ballistics.
Grabbed 4 boxes of the 357's at my local Walmart. The 38's were about 2 bucks cheaper.
I like .357's... no dirt line to clean out 8)
I need to check my Walmart's.
Aww isn't that nice. Non corrosive boxer primers? They bragging on THAT? :-\
