Ok, the Underwood ammo arrived and shot some today..

Wow, that is quite a spread in velocities. For some reason I remember a post somewhere that had higher velocities with a stronger spring, not less. That could be my memory. :o

Are smileys normal with Underwood loads? I've never tried any......

I don't know if they are normal..  This is my first experience with Underwood ammo.

RDub01, Did you find any small "Tan" color flakes in the powder charge? ???
If you did find some tan colored flakes it would indeed be 800X.  I actually did see some in the picture you posted...Thanks!

Stock barrel 4.6".

yeah...Like you mention.  The velocity variation is consistent with trying to meter 800X.  At least my experience.
