Nugent seems to be teaming up with Doubletap now and Prograde is just done. That's two hopeful ones gone!
I have to check and see who else didn't make it through the storm :o
Its official Double Tap is making Ted Nugent Ammo as mentioned on McNett's DoubleTap Ammunition Facebook via Ted Nugent http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tednugent-ammo.com%2F&h=MAQGabYsR&s=1 (http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tednugent-ammo.com%2F&h=MAQGabYsR&s=1)
QuoteBring on the ballistics! Using the highest quality components and Doubletap's ballistic genius, Ted Nugent Ammo is back better than ever! Chime in and let us know what calibers we need to add next! This is going to be fun!
Gone?
They aren't making ammo anymore or just 10mm?
I still see it online.
.
They are making ammo in 10 they have 180 gr jhp using a sierra bullet for self defense and deer. Also 180 gr Controlled Expansion rd .
I think what's out there will be the last of it. Their website is gone, FB page hasn't had a response since late 2014 and I found some info in a search:

Wow! :o
True. But specs are still within 1200+. Why?. Still packs punch and follow up shots. Plus expansion.
How is the sierra jhp bullet.

Pierce Ammunition, which was making Ted Nugent Ammo, donated to NY's Governor Cuomo, the largest contribution of Cuomo's re-election effort.
Peirce's contribution received much notoriety in the press last year, during the election, due to the seeming contradiction of an ammunition maker backing the originator of the SAFE Act.
The press attention may have had a direct result in killing Pierce's sales and the sales of Ted Nugent Ammo .
The contribution was explained by Pierce, as a response to Pierce Munition's appreciation of Gov. Cuomo's "Buffalo Billion Investment Development Plan". Buffalo Billion is a NY state economic fund for industrial re-development in the Buffalo, NY area.
The same Buffalo Billion program is, now, under federal investigation for political kick-backs.

I am curious what you saw in the video to make you leery of the 180 grain Sierra? I must have missed it.
The penetration.
Gotcha.
Interesting trade off. The Sierra expanded faster and bigger and retained weight better than the XTP. But as a result it dumped it's speed much faster too, resulting in 5" less penetration.
However, that would indicate a larger permanent wound cavity would have formed. Like you I tend to lean toward penetration, but nothing would make me full uncomfortable in two leg country with a Sierra if that was all I could find.
Same here. But since I have a choice XTP and GOLD DOTS.
Replies from Double Tap to my Ted Nugent Ammo questions;
QuoteMcNett's DoubleTap Ammunition Yes, we are producing all Ted Nugent Ammo now. Right here on the same lines as our ammo! It's damn good stuff

QuoteMcNett's DoubleTap Ammunition Yes, it is priced well for premium ammunition
I could care less about this draft dodger.
Nugent or McNett? :)
I just can't wait for pricing. What was pretty affordable ammo before will now be priced out of range.
.90 cents a round just because it says Ted Nugent on the side?
Hey that's fair. LOL
It's for his fund in case he needs to dodge the draft again.

I'm getting the feeling many don't like Uncle Ted?
I like him. Sometimes he goes a little overboard, especially when dealing with the members of the media.
We need him as a spokesperson, but in order to do so he should act mature a responsible without flying off the handle. He will get much more accomplished for the second amendment if he just stays calm and cool.
Here he is showing some of his 10mm wares:

My issue with Ted is he has been busted so many times violating hunting regulations. Baiting deer in California, killing a spike buck, not getting his deer tag signed by a game warden (11 violations in California). Taking a black bear after he had already wounded one in Alaska, failing to track his wounded animal. And, after he lost his hunting license in California, it was apparently illegal to purchase a license and hunt in South Dakota, but he did that too.
He has no respect for hunting laws.

Agree. As I said, if he wants to be a spokesperson for the RKBA he needs to clean up his act.
I like Uncle Ted but he can be a little extra.
