Title: Clement's Custom Gun Ruger Redhawk Conversion.
Post by: Captain O on October 17 2015 11:16:40 PM MDT
Idle curiosity has gotten the better of me (Yeah, I know, I know it is a 'fool's errand'). Has anyone thought of how well received a Dave Clement cutom Ruger Redhawk would be received, were it chamberd for the 10mm Magnum cartridge? The cartridge is over 20 years old and I heard about an S&W employee (in their Cutomer Service Department) that had their Model 610 rechambered for the round with no ill effects.

Is this a practical idea, or just a pointless "pipe dream"?

Gary Reeder has done plenty of 10MM Mag conversions on the SW 610.

I would love to see the COONAN pistol or the Desert Eagle chambered for the 10mm Magnum and offered with a conversion barrel chambered in 9x30Dillon (10mm Magnum Necked down to take 0.3550" bullets...These would be more of a custom offering, but I'm game for the package.  :D
