Took the G20 and my Dan Wesson CCO 1911 45ACP to the range yesterday. Brought various loads of 10mm to run through the G20.
Privi Partisan 180gr JHP... Underwood GD 165gr JHP ... Doubletap 200gr Hard Cast... Hornady Critical Duty/Defense 175gr JHP.
I usually shoots Glocks, my G19 for example... very well. The 1911 CCO with the single action trigger... flawless!!! Yes, I know... 1911 triggers are 'different' than the Glock trigger. This goes w/o saying.
Anyway, I found myself gripping the G20 a little strong with my right dominant hand and I think... this is what caused my lower left shooting. I did have a number of good solid center hots but for the most part, I was running too many low left.
I'm thinking... and please correct me... I should have handled the hand grip pressure a bit stronger with my left hand and relaxed the right a little.
I know that you have to put some grip to the G20 especially when shooting fairly stout loads like the Underwood and DT.
Aside from a smooth trigger pull on the pad of my index finger... do you agree with the pressure of the grip should be more to the left hand rather than the right, especially on the G20 with strong loads?
First time in all my years of shooting I'm asking for pointers as I'm finding the G20 to be an excellent platform that needs to be handled correctly for accurate, strong loads.

Have you inspected the Locking block of the Glock? Sometimes they can break.
Then there is the Slide Block which can be problematic.
Slide rails damaged. Barrel lug and the angles...

When I cleaned G20 after range session, including hard cast at end... didn't notice anything broken or out of place.
There are many other shooters better than me, though I'm proficient a shooter...
I think I need to support the G20 with my left hand, and back off grip with right.

I find that I have to back off the pressure of my dominant hand or I will tend to shoot left - right handed shooter. Assuming that a 'death grip' is 100% non-dominant and 100% dominant (100/100). I try to keep it around 60/40, just enough to maintain control of the firearm. This is assuming that the firearm in question is not damaged and the sights are aligned correctly. I have some pistols that even shooting from a supported rest shot left. I had to get those sights shifted.
