Not when the current bid is at $1,200.00   ;)

Even for a Blued one

Serial number does not look like a Gold Cup one. If he has documentation from Colt I will move on it.

"DS" is Delta Stainless, as you probably already know.

Mine was a $1K ouch a few years ago.  It is a 1990 and I got it lightly used with box and papers.  It did have the wrap around rubber grips but I replaced those with some stocks from Altamont.  They made these into the Enhanced years in enhanced versions.  They only made the blued ones for one year so those are the most valuable.

Sorry didn't get back sooner.  The S/N is DG04xxx and here is another picture soon after I got it.  Before the Altamont grips that are on it now I put on some smooth ones from Raasco in Ironwood to replace the rubber wrap arounds that came on it.

That'd be nice...might as well load it up with other goodies too. Beaver tail, commander hammer, etc.

Other than the adjustable sights and trigger a "match" barrel/bushing seem to be what makes the Colt's GC "special" Are there any other attributes that add to the  value of the piece?

Yes the Colt trademark name.

*yawn* Okay, anything else? i hate to say it, but Colt's name doesn't mean much. It seems to be a "bragging right" (and not much of one at that).

The new Model 1903 is interesting, but not at the MSRP of $1350.  :o
