Title: Video review of the Glock 40
Post by: Dave84 on August 13 2015 09:45:20 PM MDT
This is the first review I've seen of one of these. Seems very nice.

Don't know if I would walk around with a clipboard while a man was banging out 10s

Since I will be getting mine next week. It was nice to see a positive review. As a former Glock hater, I think it was my Tanfoglio Limited with the wood grips that got me to accept a wider grip on my pistols. My newer 29 sealed the deal.
I do have the grip angle adapter on my 29 that makes the Glock point like a normal gun however. Comments are all Gen4, still hate the Gen3 and previous. (2 by 4 grips) Just my experience, YMMV.

Especially since, on at least 3 or 4 of those shots, the clipboard dude was in front of the muzzle while the shooter was moving.

Not all that impressed with this video anyway, as the hottest load the RH dude shot was the Hornady 180gr load (about 1180fps).

C'mon, let's get serious.  ::)

Nice G40.

Strange tactics during the review.

No way. That was unsafe.

I have a Glock 40 and it hates lead ammo and tends to keyhole with it. So I will probably get a KKM barrel for it.
The gun itself is kind of nose heavy and doesn't feel as balanced as the G20 which I also have.
I really don't care for the MOS system and have been thinking of changing out the slide for a lone wolf long slide.
I think I would rather have an Aimpoint T1 on the G40 rather than a Trijicon. I don't care about co-witness on
a hunting/woods defense gun.

Have you slugged the factory barrel?  If so, what diameter did it measure?

I have looked at one in a LGS.  Interesting but not sure I want to buy one.

I said the same thing a couple of months ago. Bit the bullet and picked it up.
Now we shoot it weekly, added a Insight Red Dot, it's a pleasure to shoot.
